In the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” the arts are the heartbeat of our community. As one of the premier performing arts magnet schools in the nation, Las Vegas Academy of the Arts is one of the greatest contributors to that heartbeat. With award-winning and nationally recognized arts and education programs, no one in the Las Vegas Valley nurtures more performers, artists, and creatives than LVA.
But, this world-class, tuition-free arts education would not be possible without the generous support of our community.
Friends of LVA Foundation provides the resources necessary to make the promise of LVA possible - today and in the future. As budget concerns grow, this foundation plays an even greater role in securing this world-class, tuition-free arts education for some of our city’s most talented young artists. This non-profit organization is committed to funding essential programs and providing critical resources. In addition to funding things like equipment, performance spaces, and student travel, last year alone, Friends of LVA Foundation brought more than 30 accomplished professional artists directly to LVA to inspire and mentor our community’s next generation.
